The service was great and quick. However, they accidentally did not order one of my windows, and it took them almost another year to install it. They initially told me 4 months until it arrived, but they forgot to order again and it took them almost a year.

Highly recommend Lock Tight, let’s start by saying that there was some skepticism at first due to bad past experiences with contractors, but this process was seamless beginning with our sales representative Austin to our installation crew Ti’ago, Wesley, and their entire crew. We outfitted our entire home with impact windows , sliding doors, and garage door as well. The turn around time was reasonable with out any delays. Windows were ordered in August, installed in November, and passed inspection on the first go in January and believe me that’s no easy feat in the city were we live! We our so pleased we are looking forward to working with them on our roofing project!

There are so many impact window and door companies to choose from. After getting a few quotes, the decision on which company to use was difficult, I am a widow and my husband always took care of the decisions when it came to major home repairs and renovations. The quotes I received varied in price. Although Lock Tight was not the lowest quote, I decided to use Lock Tight because of the wonderful customer service. I had so many questions and each time I called, I was treated with courtesy and compassion…I never felt pressured or felt I was being taken advantage of because of my lack of knowledge…I was educated in the different grades of impact glass and frames, hence the variation in pricing. I realized that I had to match apples to apples. It took a few weeks longer than the estimated day of installation because of supply and demand, however, I was kept informed. The installation went very well…the installers were professional and courteous and I felt safe. After the installation, there were a few minor details that needed attention and when I called and spoke to Don he took care of it right away. He even went so far as to call and make sure I was pleased before he closed the repair ticket. I also spoke with Ken who made me feel valued as a customer. Eventually, I know I will need to replace my roof and the first company I will call for an estimate is Lock Tight because I know I will receive quality roofing materials, professional installation, and wonderful customer service!

I hired LockTight to replace old windows and patio doors with impact windows and doors. From the start (meeting with the sales person) until the installation the company representatives were very responsive and helpful. The city inspector indicated that the product is of amazing quality and installation is perfect. While it wasn’t the lowest estimate, I am very happy that I decided to go with LockTight, the quality of the product is worth a few extra thousands.

I chose locktight to do my windows and doors project because they have been in business a very long time. I did not regret it. I would recommend locktight to do your project. Job professionally done. I liked the follow up from the various departments. Ken from QA will put you at ease during the initial chaotice stages. If you are thinking of bypassing permits and proper engineering, please don’t.

I don’t have enough good things to say about this company or the product they sell. Every interaction with them has been wonderful. From salesperson Trevor Lindsay, who took the time to completely explain the excellent product, to the installers who were efficient, highly skilled and very nice to boot and EVERYONE in between.

The new windows make the house much cooler and quieter, not to mention more stylish. The AC runs far less often. I couldn’t be more pleased.

I feel very confident in recommending Lock Tight. They treat customers the right way, and they deliver what they promise.

The office notified me of receiving my work permit and arranging start date. The working crew arrived early and begin work upon arrival. They were professional and respectful of my home. They worked very hard and cleaned the wastes in a portable bin.

If you are hesitant about replacing your windows? Have you heard of horror stories from friends and family? Work incomplete for days, sloppy workmanship, obligated to finance, or the ultimate. The contractor disappeared when the windows were delivered and did not show up to do the installation but somehow got paid anyway. Relax, I was too but instead.

I called Locktightimpact Windows & Doors. No frills and straight forward. Want to pay in cash? No problem but with easy financing available spread the debt over time. The saving will come as we have noticed the air conditioner runs less. Most of all we are on a busy street and the reduction in noise pollution was very noticeable.

A friendly salesperson came out and we shared ideas & pricing. They arranged financing, permitting, and scheduled an installation. In time for Christmas, too. A team of installers showed up and in one day our average townhouse had all gorgeous new windows replaced. I was impressed by the work and quality control. Everyone who i dealt with during my installation provided great customer service.

We signed the contract with Locktight impact windows and doors but then we realized a few changes to it. They were very receptive to the changes and accommodated them without even charging us extra. Most companies do charge for change requests and sometimes don’t even entertain any changes once finalized. I am super happy with this company so far, especially Sean McGowan who worked along the way and I can’t wait for this project to be completed.

LockTight Windows has done a phenomenal job from the beginning w.r.t to coordination, updates, and installation of the windows and doors. They went above and beyond to accommodate my request. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for impact doors and windows.

Installers and inspector that came to my house was great only issue I had was with people in the office, no communication from them when my estimated date was pushed back thought they canceled order. Other than that experience was good for me and Installers did a great job.

I purchased 5 windows from Locktight. There were several delays but they kept me informed of the delays. When the windows arrived they phoned and told me they would be installed but unfortunately the installer spoke little to no English (my nightmare). The installers destroyed the wall under one of the windows fortunate fortunate for me Locktight did the repairs much later. Thanks to the worker Kenny, I was informed of several things I did not know. He hussled to get the inspector to stay and sign off on the inspection (after 3 visits and work still needed to be done) he stalled the screens, cleaned the windows, and finished repairing the wall. I finally have my room back after several months.

There were definitely some irritations during the process (like a 9 month delay) and lack of communication, but after all was said and done we are pleased with the end product. Steve S and Maurice from the service department were great and very personable, as were the installers lead by Jose. Cody was also very polite and responsive.

Kudos to Andrew Ursache 👏 When we purchased the windows with Andrew he said if we ever have any issues to call him.

Our windows were being installed and we had some concerns that we wanted addressed. We reached out to Andrew. He was on vacation out of the country but that didn’t stop him from helping us. Wow, that was impressive. How many sales people do you know who would take time to reach out to the customer and converse with his team to figure out and clear up issues while they are on vacation? Awesome 😎 customer service. He cares about his customers and believes in his product. A man of his word. He even came by the house when he got back in town, on his time, to go over the issues. My window and sliding doors came in a timely manner and were installed quickly. The installers came at the time they promised both days and were very nice.

I’m waiting for the finishing touches after the inspection and will write another review then but so far so good!

I love my new windows and doors! Windows are manufactured here in Florida. We expected delivery in October but they came in sooner (yea!) and we installed at the end of August (thank you Billy). Installers were quick and professional and clean up everything. Cary picked up the ball after installation and has been proactive in getting the permit and punch list closed out. I definitely recommend this company

I was provided a quote by Rafael who was extremely helpful and helped us understand the different options of windows. They were even able to get my windows installed months sooner than we originally anticipated. The installation was more involved then I expected but I think the installers did a great job with everything and also took the time to clean up after themselves. I would highly recommend them for impact windows and would give more stars if I could.

They work clean and always keep you in the loop of how the process should go. Even when i wasn’t able to get the color that i want it due to the manufacture mistake mi order. They actually compensate me for the mistake even do it wasn’t their fault.

The work started late on the first day, however they worked until about 7 pm. The next day there was a large crew 6 people and they got almost the entire house leaving the front door for the last day.

The removal of the old roof, wood replacement, and clean up was done in one day. It rained that day and the roof was well protected. The new roof was installed quickly, which received impressive comments from two neighbors.

I’m very happy with his customer service. Me and my wife were very nervous because we just bought the house in April and are new to this. Sean has a made it easy for us. A friend had her impact windows installed and passed her for the referral. LockTight came to our home and gave us a good quote. A reasonable price! It took 11 months to get our win. That was a long week. Anyhow, once the windows came in the installers, Wesley crew, punctually arrived. It took about 89 hours to install. Those men were trustworthy and hard work! They were awesome. Next, was the city inspection with Brian- and George. The inspection went smooth and Brian- and George performed at Arepa. And the recommended company to my neighbors because I was quite content pricing, quality of windows, installation and the final wrap up. Will use them again if purchasing another property.

Extremely satisfied! We spoke to several “top” impact window companies, and they were the best ones! Their sales team can answer any and all questions, perfectly explain their product line, and the entire process from start to finish. The communication throughout the entire process was excellent! Everyone we spoke to was very nice and knowledgeable.

Although there was a bit of a communication barrier, the work that was done by lock tight and their service technicians was phenomenal. Once Shawn & Chase arrived things were done in a well and timely manner.

I had a great experience with LockTight. When it came to getting impact windows for my house, I got several quotes but LockTight gave me the best estimate so I ended up going with them, not to mention everyone I spoke with was incredibly courteous and professional throughout the entire process, particularly Tyler, who set my appointment for my quote and gave me lots of helpful information. After about 5 months, I got my new windows and sliding glass door and I’m in love. I sleep so soundly at night with these new windows, I can’t hear anything coming from the outside!

Our first contact with LockTight Impact was back in Nov ’21 with Andrew Ursache. He was attentive, responsive, knowledgeable, and passionate. He made the process easy from the beginning and answered all of our questions and concerns. Engineering plans and permits went very smooth as well, good communication with the people in these departments. Then, it was a long waiting period. Unfortunately, after COVID, materials, supplies, shipment was significantly delayed, but this was expected and understandable. Once the product arrived, installation came quick. Even though there are different crews that do demo, install windows, and doors, I have to say, everyone was efficient and attentive. Garbage pick-up was always within reason. They make their best effort to minimize dirt and damage, but its part of the job. We passed inspection with no trouble at all. We are in the “punch-out” stages, meaning final details to fix and paint and I anticipate it will go well. Even though I encountered some misunderstandings over a financial matter, as soon as I contacted Raul, the Finance manager, he did not hesitate to jump in and try to fix the problem to the best of his ability. Which is how it should be. Communication is the key to client satisfaction. I am also in the business of taking care of people and when the outcome changes from what we planned or envisioned, how the situation was handled is what matters the most. Great Job, and to those I dealt with the most: Andrew, Jamie, Marisol, Raul, Cody, and now Mike and Billy…. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Your team has just completed the first phase of installation pending inspection and final finishes. It was first class all the way. It started with your sales rep, Trevor Lindsey who as a fellow sales person myself, really exhibited salesmanship and professionalism. You guys weren’t the cheapest but he demonstrated a fine value proposition and got my order. He then followed the process every step of the way and was always accessible, which is a hot button to me in in any project. And your scheduling department did a great job in keeping me informed and projecting when to expect installation. This was critical since I live in Chicago and had to deal with flights into Miramar. Your installation team led by Jon were equally amazing. Perfectionist’s in every way paying attention to detail and making sure the furniture was protected and even cleaned up afterward. In short, I would strongly recommend your company to anybody and everybody. As a business owner myself with a strong acumen for perfection and accessibility, you guys are tough to beat.

I have had some great people work on the logistics side and with the installation of my sliding glass doors.

We have run into difficulties that are out of anyone’s control, but the communication made the difference.

I am waiting for inspection and final clean up to be completed, but can’t see any issues there.

When Andrew called to confirm our appointment, I let him know that the rambunctious grandkids were here and Andrew went out of his way to get the grandkids gummy bears!

They open and close so easily and have a great air seal. It’s such an improvement over the old ones I had which required a lot of strength to operate and always felt like with the slightest wind would rattle and break. First Off I want to say Andrew was amazing from start to finish. This review is just for the Salesman Andrew as our overall job is not complete yet – still pending inspection, punch list items and some tightening up. I’ll add in a final review once all items are completed.

In the beginning, Andrew came to our house multiple times to discuss the project and explained the different options for both windows and financing. He swore that he’d stand by the product and gave his word to always be available throughout the entire process. To date, he has kept true to his word and has been quick to answer calls/texts as well as intervene when bumps in the road popped up during installation. Our only regret is that we wish we would’ve realized that 2 of the higher up windows we ordered weren’t the full glass and instead are the double hung windows. Not his fault as we agreed and we should’ve realized but looking back just wish he had stressed that piece more. He did offer us some solutions to make changes now so still is engaged and works to find solutions.

Overall, we recommend him. He worked with us; explained the process/different window options; got us a solid competitive pricing deal; explained the financing vs cash options; and has kept his word. He helped with a challenging situation during the installation process and confirmed that the financing deal we agreed to did not require any payments/signing of the certificate of completion until installation was completed. We recommend him as a salesman and if you get him on your project he’ll help see it through and intervene to get it on track if needed.

As mentioned, I’ll do an overall review on the project once it’s done (hopefully soon as installation began in late May).

I chose LOCKTIGHT and I am a very satisfied with the whole project. Coved did slow the process somewhat, but in the end I am glad I chose them.

Before today, I honestly would have rated my experience a 3… at best. Like others have posted, there was lots of communication on the front end to get a contract signed and a large deposit in place. Yes, I understand there was a pandemic and real world supply chain challenges, but I also feel there could have been much better communication along the way. I too had to follow up many times until the tail end of the process when installation is finally close at hand. Furthermore, in my opinion, the installation was rushed and sloppy. The rear slider doesn’t close smoothly, there is caulk splattered all over the front entry tile, and they didn’t even remove all the protective plastic off the walls.

However… here’s where things change! Mike McManus, Installation Supervisor, came out this afternoon. He was very attentive and documented all the items we are expecting to be addressed prior to the final inspection.

Management: Kudos to Mike! He’s a diamond in the rough and in just a short visit he’s begun to sway my opinion of your company. Let’s see what happens from here to final inspection. If you are able to deliver on everything that Mike seemed to indicate wouldn’t be a problem to resolve then I will come back and give a 5 star rating.

We just had our impact windows and doors installed a few weeks ago,we were very disappointed with our installers as they were not very friendly, not clean at all,didn’t seem to care how messy they were, and what they damaged in our home, and they have damaged a few things. But when the service team came out, Kenny and Steve were amazing!!! they were pleasant, friendly , very professional, repaired everything! It was a pleasure to have them in our home! So,I hope you acknowledge that your service team Kenny and Steve are a great asset to your business, but the installers were not !

Communication is an extremely important asset when dealing with a major purchase and they kept me in the loop for the duration. I had been wanting to upgrade from my old sliding glass doors and finally purchased from Locktight after a friend recommended them. They were so professional and spelled out exactly what they would do and when. There was a delay in them recieving our order but almost everything we buy now has some delay or shortages. I have never experienced such a smooth and pleasant process with any home improvement, but I must say that this company has a well oiled engine!!! Amidst all the craziness of Covid-19, LockTight Windows and Doors was able to get me a timely quote, demonstration, and ultimately an extremely competitive deal on high-grade highly rated windows for my entire home. Additionally LockTight Impact Windows and Doors assisted me in obtaining financing for this project. Through this project I had to deal with an unexpected refinance unrelated to the window project. LockTight Windows and Doors was extremely accommodating in working around this hurdle. LockTight Impact Windows and Doors did an extremely professional job installing the windows quickly (In one day I might add! – 12 windows.) Their touch up crew was able to return to the house and paint and touch up and sections that were modified for the window install a service that most installers do not provide.

They install the screen doors very carefully. And they help us replace the balancing rods for windows. Everything is perfect now! Their professional skills are highly appreciated.

LTIWD sent a large team of qualified installers and amazingly completed the installation in one day! Unfortunately, to no fault of LTIWD, our doors were backordered until last week, and were finally installed, inspected and the touch up work completed this past Tuesday! Overall, we are very pleased with the installation and touch up work, and thrilled to finally have the job complete. I can’t say enough about Andrew who was in contact with us throughout the process.
